Our participation in the International Normal Festival in Prague
Between 09.11 and 13.11 2008 we took
part in the International Normal Festival (along with the Normal Theatre part) in
Prague. We presented our performance “Without Words” based on Samuel Beckett’s
texts. The show was held in an extremely atmospheric Experimental Space
Roxy/NoD hall. One of our guests was also Professor Jana Pilatova who, as
usual, gave us valuable and wise advice concerning not only acting and drama,
but life as well.
One of the most important events during our stay was visiting Franz Kafka Museum. With regard to the forthcoming premiere of “The Trial” by this magnificent author in our Theatre, we took an opportunity of exploring the air of Kafka’s life and Prague of that times. We hope this experience will help us prepare our performance even better now.
